Located in Encino, this 80-acre park is anchored by the 27-acre Lake Balboa. The park features everything from jogging paths, multipurpose sports fields, playgrounds, and plenty of other activities to choose from. Those living in Studio City can head over to Wilacre Park, spread over an expansive 128 acres and home to a myriad of hiking and walking paths. If you’re looking for a challenge, consider hiking at Fryman Canyon, a three-mile hike that offers the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature.
Stock up on fresh fruits and vegetables at the Sherman Oaks Farmers Market. This thriving market takes place every Tuesday afternoon and boasts produce from local farmers, baked goods, artisanal cheeses, farm-fresh eggs, and plenty more. Meanwhile, if you’re looking for the perfect place for a family-fun day, head over to Sherman Oaks Castle Park. The miniature golf, arcade, and batting cages offer hours of entertainment.
